February 9, 2012 Edmonton Alberta Video credit: Mr. Fraser Logan, Army Public Affairs Officer (DND) 14 of the new model of the Leopard 2 arrived by train from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Edmonton, Alberta on February, 8th 2012. These new implement which arrived from Germany are here to give a new breeze to the 1 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group. There part of the « Tank replacement project » . Most of the soldiers are happy of the new models because they used it during the deployment in Afghanistan. --------------------------------------------------- 14 nouveaux models de char d'assaut Leopard 2 sont parvenus de Halifax, Nouvelle-Ecosse a Edmonton, en Alberta le 8 Fevrier 2012. Ces vehicules sont arrivees d'Allemagne dans le cadre du « Projet de remplacement de tank » pour la 1er Groupe Brigade Mecanise du Canada. Plusieurs membres des Forces Canadiennes sont heureux de voir arriver ces nouveaux elements, car plusieurs on servi durant le deploiement en Afghanistan.
