This is a hobby project I've made in a couple of weeks. Video shows no more than a proof that this thing can be driven out of my apartment and back. Robot is based on RoboPICA (PIC16F887) platform, has two PWM-controlled DC-drives and digital radio control via HM-T433/HM-R433 chips. I wanted it to be controlled with a standard PC joystick, so there's a simple VB6-program (yeah, I am that lazy while writing code for PC) which reads joystick state and send it to vCOM-port. Also, there's a simple analog wireless camera, which has nothing in common with the robot. It has its own battery, its own receiver-transmitter, and even its own capturing software. It is just placed in the right place in the right time on robot's moving platform. LED-lights were actually added just to make the robot look awesome :) Also it now could crawl in a really dark places. I, personally, call this project "a giant step for man small step for mankind", as I've been dreaming of PC-controlled videobot for quite a long time.
