highlights from a day out with 4 EDF jets. 1) Hobbyking Stinger 64mm. I balanced the fan. It is much quieter than my other jets. running on a 4S 1800. 2) Hobbyking (Guan Li) T-45 64mm. Running on a 3S 2200. This plane is light and can be flown relatively slow. 3) J-Power AMX 50mm. 4S setup with the RClander alloy EDF. I messed something up when replacing the motor and threw the fan off balance. This makes it noisy. 4) J-Power F-86 35mm. on a Rhino 610mAh 2S battery. ESC changed to a 10A Turnigy plush. It's quick for a 2S setup.
